Ahmed Elbery, PhD
Dr. Ahmed Elbery is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the School of Computing's Telecommunications Research Lab at Queen's University. Previously Dr. Elbery was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Center for Sustainable Mobility (CSM) at Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI). Ahmed received his MSc in Electronic Engineering from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University, Egypt, and his PhD in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, USA. His research interests include communication and data networking, wireless and vehicular communication, ITS, simulation and modeling of large-scale vehicular networks in smart cities, and eco-routing navigation systems. He is a senior network engineer and has numerous network and communication certificates including from Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei-3Com. We welcome Dr. Elbery to Queen's University and to TRL. |
