The Queen's University Telecommunications Research Lab (TRL) spans many telecommunication disciplines including, data-driven and machine learning-empowered 5G wireless networks, edge computing, network function virtualization, next-generation wireless sensors ruggedized for harsh environments, peer-to-peer networking, multimedia services, RFIDs, and the Internet of Things.

​We participate in the creation of new standards that shape the future of telecommunications, and we ensure sustainability through implementing protocols that minimize environmental impact.
