Queen's Telecommunications Research Lab (TRL) spans many telecommunication disciplines including, data-driven and machine learning-empowered 5G wireless networks,
edge computing, network function virtualization, next-generation wireless sensors ruggedized for harsh environments, peer-to-peer networking, multimedia services, RFIDs, and the
Internet of Things. We participate in the creation of new standards that shape the future of telecommunications, and we ensure sustainability through implementing protocols that minimize environmental impact.
